Welcome to the Lakelands Football Club Website.

We are delighted to welcome you to the Lakelands FC website. We hope that you will take some time to browse the site and find out about forthcoming and past events which we have in our club.

Lakelands Football Club is a voluntary children and youths soccer club located in the Stillorgan area of South County Dublin, Ireland. The Club has been serving the local community for over 30 years.

Lakelands FC Soccer Marathon takes place on May 19th.

Lakelands FC Academy for Boys and Girls (born 2006 - 2008) starts on Friday 19th April in Meadowbrook Leisure Centre.

Ex-Lakelands Schoolboy player Danny Kane hits the big time.
Despite going out of the FA Cup at the weekend, Huddersfield Town's future looks bright as they win out to get the signature of Ireland Under 16 skipper Danny Kane. Danny was with Lakelands FC from age 6 to 14 before moving on to Cherry Orchard. The club wishes Danny and his family the best of luck for the future.

Congratulations to Lakelands FC Christmas Raffle winners.
Congratulations to Connie Humphreys who won the main prize of the PS3 and to Stephen Monahan who won the sellers prize. Full list of draw winners can be found on the events page.

Councillors support Lakelands FC Christmas Raffle.
We were delighted to have Councillor Gerry Horkan and An Cathaoirleach Councillor Tom Joyce support the Lakelands FC Christmas Raffle in the Goat Grill on Friday 21st December.
Councillor Horkan drew the winning tickets for us and we welcome Gerry's continued support as he was key in helping the club get extra pitch allocations this season.

Lakelands U10 win the DDSL U10b League with 2 games to spare.
Lakelands U10a won the DDSL Sunday u10b league with a closely fought win over second place Terenure at Bushy Park. See teams page for full match report.

Lakelands Academy has moved to Benildus.
Lakelands Academy now runs on Sundays in the hall at Benildus. All Girls and Boys born in 2006 or 2007 are welcome to attend. It will be run by our Academy Director, Paul McGowan and will run from 10:00 to 11:00.

Lakelands now have a girls team who start this weekend in the U9/10 Metropolitan Girls League. Good luck to the girls.
Lakelands Girls kick off their season this weekend in the Purple division of the U9/10 MGL. We wish them great luck on this, their very first outing together. Enjoy!

Lakelands start a new season with more teams than ever. Good luck to all of our teams for the 2012/2013 season.
Lakelands now have 28 teams playing in various leagues. That does not include our academy. As a club we continue to grow from strength to strength. Go Lakelands.
