About Us

Lakelands Football Club is a voluntary children and youth soccer club operating in the Stillorgan, Dundrum, Sandyford and Blackrock areas of South County Dublin. The Club has been serving the local community for 40 years now and has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 1978.
We cater for boys and girls and young men and women aged 5 to 20. Our philosophy is to encourage children and young people of all abilities to play and enjoy football. Our Club has seen huge growth over the last 7 years (from 100 players to almost 600) and we now field over 40 schoolboy/schoolgirl teams, a Men’s Senior Team, as well as a thriving Academy for younger children. Our teams train on All-Weather pitches in St. Benildus College and Stepaside. Our home pitches at Leopardstown Park, Balally Hill, Bearna Park and Marlay Park are under the auspices of Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council. We also use private pitches in St. Tiernans Community School and St. John of Gods Hospital.
